A Technical Overview of Risk Management and Workshop |
What function do you play in the Life Cycle of Risk? |
| Dealing with risk is an issue we all face, both personally and professionally. Risk acceptance and risk aversion decisions are all subject to our individual perceptions of risk. These perceptions drive risk evaluation, and often factors into how well overall risks are managed in an organization. In this seminar, we will present and discuss basic concepts of risk, regulatory and business drivers, and specific tools for evaluating risk in operational systems. With the diverse expertise provided by the course facilitators and the variety of industries represented by the participants, this seminar and venue will offer an excellent opportunity to learn and benchmark risk management strategies. There will be heavy emphasis on risk management program development and a considerable amount of time is set aside for participant workshops. |
